We will then take you to dine at local restaurants to savour the delicious Baltic cuisine, from dumplings, to fresh seafood or traditional dishes, all the while soaking in the lively atmosphere, with, in your hand, a glass of wine, Lithuanian mead, Gira, or black balsam.

Unearth Lithuania’s and Latvia’s jewels

A true gem of Lithuanian heritage, we will discover Lithuania’s oldest castle, nestled on an island – a stunning example of Gothic architecture and a symbol of Lithuania’s rich history. Dating back to the 14th century, this picturesque fortress served as a residence for the Lithuania’s Dukes and played a crucial role in the region’s defense.

Plus, visit Latvia’s most impressive palace, the Versailles of Latvia, a stunning Baroque and Rococo masterpiece that features exquisite gardens, ornate frescoes, and opulent interiors, and is surrounded by meticulously landscaped grounds – a true a cultural treasure

Connect with Nature

Step outside the urban bustle and discover the pristine beauty of nature in the Baltic region, including Latvia’s oldest and largest national park, a breathtaking expanse of natural beauty that showcases the country’s diverse landscape – with lush forests, dramatic sandstone cliffs, and its meandering river.

We will also take leisurely hikes along stunning coastal paths near Riga. The Baltic summer is alive with colour — witness vibrant sunsets that will take your breath away.

Relax by the seaside… and breathe

Near the Latvian capital and in Liepaja, we will unwind at the most beautiful beaches the Baltic has to offer. Known for their pristine white sand and picturesque dunes they offer a captivating blend of natural beauty and tranquility. When you are not dancing, go for a swim in the warm waters of the Baltic Sea, snorkel, sunbathe (doing nothing is recommended too for successful holidays!), go for a long walk on the beach to feel the sand beneath your feet, drink a mojito, the choice is yours.

And most importantly: create connections

This tango holiday is not just about dance and discoveries; it’s about creating connections with other fellow dancers from the group and at the local milongas, share a laugh (or ten), and making new friends in the process.

So embrace the extraordinary with Baltango. Whether you are looking for dancing, adventure, relaxation, or a little bit of both, our carefully curated itinerary promises an experience that will ignite your love for the Baltic region and leave you with unforgettable memories.
