Taking place during France’s largest tango festival (Tarbes en Tango), with its many outdoor and indoor milongas, apero-talks with dance artists, world class workshops, world reknown maestros and tango orchestras, and shows, we organise an inspiring retreat filled with tango, nature, city breaks and discovery of the Occitanie region. Plus, coma dance on the live music of Sexteto Cristal, Ensemble Hyperion, Los Suplentes, Sin Vuelta, Sonder Tango and more. And this year it has been extended to 7 days!
Welcome to the enchanting city of Tarbes in southern France, where the entire town is overtaken by tango during its famous August tango festival, with its afternoon outdoor dancing and the evening milongas where you will dance to the sounds of some of the most established tango orchestras. – From London: Saturday, Ryanair 10.05am from Stansted Airport (STN), arrives in Lourdes Airport (LDE) at 13.05.
– From Paris: Saturday, Volotea 8.20am from Paris Orly, arrives in Lourdes Airport (LDE) at 9.40am.
– From Berlin: Saturday, Transavia 13.55, arrives in Lourdes Airport (LDE) at 19.45 (change in Orly).
Return:
– To London: Friday, Ryanair 22.55 from Toulouse Airport (TLS), arrives in London (STN) at 23.50.
– To Paris: Friday, Volotea from Lourdes (LDE) 18.35 to Paris Orly (ORY), arrives at 20.05.
– To Berlin, via Paris.
Note that there is no direct flight from Lourdes to London on Friday 22nd but you can:
– Either come back from Toulouse (see above), there is a direct train from Tarbes to Toulouse.
– Or add one night in Tarbes (please let us know and we will arrange it for you), and take the Saturday flight from Lourdes (13.35) to London STN (arrives 14.30)
